| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To obtain an optical pickup with less in the noise of returned light by using a longitudinal multi-mode semiconductor laser and arranging a wavelength selective element selecting one mode with the grating coupler. CONSTITUTION:The light 13 collected onto an optical disk 9 is reflected from a recording part 10 of the optical disk 9 and follows the reverse path, is returned to the light collection grating coupler 7 and led to a waveguide path layer 3 as a collimated light by the coupler 7. Moreover, the light is reflected by a wavelength selection element 6 and becomes a focused light. Moreover, the focused light is separated into a reflected light 14 and a transmitted light by the beam splitter 5 and the light 14 is converted into an electric signal by a photodetector 8. The light transmitting through the beam splitter 5 becomes a returned light to the laser 4. In this case, only the light selected by the wavelength selecting element 6 contributes as the returned light, no returned light noise is caused. |
