| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To enable a semiconductor laser device to be assembled easily while keeping the accuracy of relative position between a semiconductor laser element and an optical element, by providing a sealing section having light transmitting properties between a cap and a stem. CONSTITUTION:In a semiconductor laser device whose semiconductor laser element 1 is enclosed hermetically by a stem 3 and a cap 5, the sealing section between the cap 5 and the stem 3 is provided with light transmitting properties. According to an embodiment. the external walls of the cap 5 formed of transparent glass are coated with a water-proof coating film 6 and further coated with a light-shielding coat film 7, while the light-shielding coat film 7 is not provided on and near the sealing section with the stem 3 so that the sealing section transmits light. A laser beam is emitted by the laser element 1 so that the laser element 1 is positioned optimumly with respect to an optical element 4. Then, ultraviolet rays for example are applied from over the sealing section of the cap 5 so as to cure photosetting resin 8 and to fix the cap 5 to the stem 3. |
