| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To stably oscillate laser light of a single mode and to provide high productivity, high yield and uniform characteristics. CONSTITUTION:An optical waveguide layer 15 formed with a distributed feedback unit such as a diffraction grating 17 and a clad layer 18 formed with a ridge 20 are made of different-component mixed crystals. After the feedback unit is formed on the layer 15, the layer 18 is formed thereon, only the layer 18 is selectively etched with an etchant which does not etch the layer 15 to form the ridge 20 extended in an optical waveguide direction on the layer 15. |
