英文摘要 | Objective It's not appropriate to analyze data in teratology studies through traditional statistics methods. The theory according to the cluster-correlated data encountered in teratology studies was reviewed and then implemented through SUDAAN. Methods Perform the descriptive statistics procedures and logistic regression modeling procedures in SUDAAN to analyze the binary response variable from the data in a teratology study. Results The procedures in SUDAAAN provide consistent estimates and robust variance estimation for the data analysis of teratology study, so as to yield valid inference. Conclusion We should give attention to the litter effects in teratology. Some statistical software like SUDAAN are helpful for performing statistical analyses on cluster-correlated data in teratology studies.[Abstract] Objective To explore the application of time/space sampling designs in survey of outpatients visiting sexually transmitted diseases clinic. Methods The essence of such designs involves first constructing a sampling frame of primary sample units (PSu ) that consist of time period/location combinations during which and where the flow takes place. A sample of PSUs is drawn by probability proportional to estimated size sampling and a fixed size sample of visitors is then selected, often by systematic sampling or simple random sampling, in selected PSUs. Results A practical example in a sexually transmitted diseases clinic of Jinan was presentation to illustrate the use of this method. Conclusion The time/space sampling designs can remedy the shortage of systematic sampling or simple random sampling designs, and worthy of application widely in survey of outpatients visiting sexually transmitted diseases clinic. |
