英文摘要Free fatty acids (FFAs) play important physiological roles in many tissues as an energy source and act as signaling molecules in various cellular processes. The physiological functions of FFAs arouse widespread attention. Increased peripheral FFAs concentration is closely related to obesity, disturbance of lipid metabolism and diabetes.GPR120, which functions as a new receptor for long'chain FFAs, may play as a potential therapeutic target for metabolic diseases especially for diabetes mellitus and obesity. It deserves more in-depth investigations.
