| 英文摘要 | Heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1), a cellular stress protein, serves a vital metabolic function as the rate-limiting enzyme in the degradation of heme to generate carbon monoxide (CO), iron, and biliverdin (BR). HO-1 may function as one of the most momentous factors of cell adaptation to oxidase stress, as well as a regulator of inflammatory signaling programs through the generation of its biologically active end products. Intensive investigation is now focusing on the potential function of HO-1 in inflammatory disorders, among which rheumatic diseases are one of the principal issues. |
