英文摘要 | Objective To summarize the fragmentation pathways of spirostanol saponins and furostanol saponins. Methods The chemical structures and the characteristic fragment ions of 46 saponins in Anemarrhena asphodeloides were reorganized. Results It was found that the spirostanol saponins firstly lose C-3 sugar moiety, and then the characteristic fragmentation involving the loss of 144 u or 114 u which arise from the cleavage of the E-ring is observed. The process results in the generation of m/z 255 or 285, m/z 253 or 283, m/z 251 or 281. When OH or OMe is substituted at C-22 position, the furostanol saponins usually yield [M+H-H_2O]~+ ions or [M+H-MeOH]~+ ions. Successively, the [M+H-H_2O]~+ ions or [M+H-MeOH]~+ ions generate product ions because of the loss of C-26 sugar moiety. The further fragmentation pathways are the same as the spirostanol saponins. Conclusion The fragmentation pathways and characteristic fragment ions will be helpful in identifying the structures of saponins in A. asphodeloides. |
