英文摘要Resveratrol, a naturally occurring polyphenolic compound, is one major active component in red wine. Increasing evidence shows resveratrol has a wide range of bioactivities in the prevention and treatment of neuronal pathologies including brain ischemia, spine cord injury and neurodegenerative diseases. Effects of resveratrol include anti-oxidation, anti-inflammation, down-regulation of neuronal excitability, regulation of microRNA expression and signal pathway transduction. Here, we provide a review of recent advances on resveratrol, primarily focusing on the biological activity of resveratrol in neuronal pathologies.
