英文摘要The accurate replication and transmission of genetic material are important to maintain genomic stability. DNA double-strand breaks might result in cellular apoptosis and chromosomal rearrangements,which induce the development of tumor. 53BP1 is an important mediator in DNA doublestrand breaks repair,which functions in keeping the balance of repair pathway choice and preserving genomic stability. In this paper we focus on 53BP1's protein structure,biological functions,signaling pathways,molecular mechanisms and post-translational modifications,hoping to provide some theoretical basis for the further study.
