| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To provide the device which is easily controlled by incoherent light without relying on an electrical method, is not affected by vibrations and is not complicated in device constitution even when a light source for control light is included and facilitates the integration of the elements to the same substrate. CONSTITUTION:This optical waveguide has the substrate 11 which is formed of a material of the refractive index changed by an electrical effect and optical waveguides 12, 13 which are formed in a part on the surface of this substrate 11 and in which signal guided light 15 are propagated. An optical path conversion part having the periodic photovoltaic effect to either one of control light 16 or the guided light is provided in the above-mentioned optical waveguide 13. |
