| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To reduce a threshold current, resistance, generated heat and the driving current of an element by forming at least one of first or second clad layers of a clad layer disposed at the side near an active layer, a clad layer disposed at the side farther therefrom, and a semiconductor layer containing an AlzGa1-zAs layer provided between these clad layers. CONSTITUTION:In a semiconductor light emitting element having a first clad layer 21 made of (AlyGa1-y)xIn1-xP mixed crystal (0<=x<=1, 0<=y<=1), an active layer 22, and a second clad layer 23 made of (AlyGa1-x)xIn1-xP mixed crystal (0<=x<=1, 0<=y<=1) sequentially formed on a semiconductor substrate 10, at least one of the layers 21, 23 is formed of a clad A layer 23 disposed at the side near the layer 22, a clad B layer 25 disposed at the side farther from the layer 22, and one or more semiconductor layers, each containing at least an AlzGa1-zAs layer 24 (0<=z<=1) provided between the clad A layer and the clad B layer. |
