| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To supply a sufficiently strong light power even if output side optical fibers are >=3 pieces by bringing an input side optical fiber and the output side optical fibers into tight contact with both end faces of a waveguide provided to the active layer of a semiconductor laser with a waveguide mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The waveguide 20 of a prescribed width is provided to the active layer 11 of the semiconductor laser 10 with the waveguide mechanism and the exit end face of the input side optical fiber 1 is adhered and fixed to one end face thereof. The incident end faces of the plural output side optical fibers 2-1-2-5 are fixed to the other face of the waveguide 20 in tight contact therewith. Since the current below the threshold value is injected to the semiconductor laser 10, the semiconductor laser is in an excited state and the light entering from the input side is increased in the intensity thereof as the induced release progresses. The amplification of the light is thereby generated. The light power stronger than the power at the time of the incidence is thereby obtd. This power arrives at the exit face of the waveguide 20. The sufficiently strong light power is thus supplied even if the fibers are >=3 pieces. |
