| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To improve the light enclosing efficiency of a semiconductor laser by interposing a protective layer between the first upper clad layer and the second upper clad layer. CONSTITUTION:The first grown layer 20 is formed of a lower clad layer 21, an active layer 22, the first clad layer 21, an active layer 22, the first clad layer 23, a protective layer 24 and a current limiting layer 25. The layer 20 has a stripe groove 30 having a tapered surface 31 narrow in width toward a substrate 10 in the depth exposed with the surface of the layer 24 along the wavelength of a laser resonator. The second grown layer 40 is formed of the second upper clad layer 41 and a gap layer 42. The layer 40 is laminated on the layer 20 in the shape recessed in response to the shape of the groove 30. |
