英文摘要The laser comprises a lower coating layer (2), supporting an active layer (15) containing at least a quantum side layer (15a) with a thicker middle section and thinner section near the middle one. On the active layer is located a top coating layer (4). Preferably the laser contains several quantum sink layers (15a). Typically the middle section is so long along the resonator longitudinal direction as not to exceed one quarter of the resonator length. The quantum sink layer consists of composite semiconductor material, selected from a group of GaAs, AlGaAs, GaInP, and AlGaInP.
