英文摘要 | In Chinese plantation area of Acacia species, especially in Fujian province, aluminum toxicity resulting from soil acidification is one of severe environmental conditions of forestland. But we know nothing about effects of that to Acacia rhizobia, the survival and growth of which is the basis to establish efficient Rhizobium-legume symbiosis. In the paper, it had been observed that the turbidity of strains declined continuously with the increase of aluminum concentrations above 80 mu M. With aluminum ion concentrations below 80 mu M, the growth patterns of the strains could be divided into two main types, which expressed genetic diversity among Acacia rhizobium strains. And it was at about 20 mu M aluminum that strains got the best average turbidity, explaining some concentrations of aluminum ion, usually extremely lower, could contribute to growth of Acacia rhizobium. It implied strains JJ had been identified as superior strains with better ability to tolerate aluminum ion stress; geographical origin of Acacia rhizobium, especially soil fertility status, had a significant effect on its resistance to aluminum ion stress. |
