英文摘要Metasedimentary rocks commonly contain carbonaceous materials which derived from the evolution of organic matter originally in the host sedimentary rock. During metamorphic processes, this organic matter is progressively transformed into graphite or the carbonaceous materials with various degrees of crystallization, which is known as a reliable indicator of metamorphic grade. Raman spectroscopy is an effective tool in describing the degree of crystallization of carbonaceous materials. A linear relationship between metamorphism temperature and the Raman spectra parameters (R1 = D1/G, where G and D1 are carbon material Raman spectroscopy peak intensities; R2 = D1/(G + D1 + D2) , where G, D1 and D2 are carbon material Raman spectroscopy peak aeras) was firstly established by Beyssac et al. (2002a) , namely T(degrees C) = -445 (R2)+641. It is simple and practical and applied to study the thermal structure and exhumation mechanism of the Alps as well as Himalayan orogenic belts. Subsequently, Rahl et al. (2005) further refined the thermometer which is T(degrees C) =737. 3 + 320. 9R1 - 1067R2 - 80. 638R1(2), and extended metamorphic temperature calculation range from 100 degrees C to 700 degrees C. This paper reviews the basic principles, methods and application conditions of carbon material Raman spectroscopy metamorphic thermometer, summarizes their application in study of reconstruction and evolution of orogenic belt thermal structure. A systematic comparative analysis of metamorphic temperature estimated by the carbonaceous Raman spectroscopy thermometer and the traditional thermometer show that the carbonaceous Raman thermometer represents the peak metamorphic temperature and will not be affected by the late retrograde metamorphism and the results of two thermometers are consistent when traditional thermometer represents peak metamorphic temperature. Carbon material Raman spectroscopy metamorphic thermometers have been used in reconstructing thermal structures of the orogenic belt, revealing the thermal evolution of the exhumation process, and studying on thermal anomalies related to high strain zones and fluids. Although the effects of pressure, duration time of metamorphism, carbonaceous material precursor types and other factors on carbon material Raman spectroscopy thermometers need further study in the future, combined with the conventional thermometer, the peak metamorphic temperature ranges calculated by the carbon material Raman spectroscopy metamorphic thermometers in the orogenic belts can reveal the multi-stage metamorphism evolution during orogenic process.
