Scaling of superconducting energy gap with critical temperature in high-T-c superconductors

英文摘要We have investigated the temperature dependence of the penetration depth for several high-T-c superconductors. The slope of the in-plane superfluid density scales approximately with 1/T-c at low temperatures independent of carrier concentration, structural symmetry and anisotropy of the compounds measured. This result, in conjunction with recent low energy angle resolved photoemission and tunneling spectroscopy measurements, suggests that the superconducting gap amplitude at the d-wave gap nodes scales with T-c.
