Automorphism and cohomology I: Fano varieties of lines and cubics

| 英文摘要 | In this paper, we show that the automorphism groups of smooth cubic threefolds or fourfolds act on their cohomology groups faithfully. We also prove that the same result holds for their Fano varieties of lines and Lefschetz cubic threefolds and fourfolds. As an application, we classify the automorphism groups of smooth cubic fourfolds with small middle Picard numbers over the complex numbers. |
