The development of high-temperature superconductors (HTSs) brings us a new material to make high-field magnets. Some conceptual HTS composite conductors have been developed for large-scale magnets with high field, such as fusion magnets. In this paper, we propose three models of Bi2223 high-temperature superconducting composite conductors that may be applied to the China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor. We analyze the transport and magnetization loss of these high-temperature superconducting composite conductors during the charging process and in an alternating magnetic field by the finite element method, respectively. This provides simulated data for analyzing the stability of Bi2223 high-temperature superconducting composite conductors.
