英文摘要In the present study, we firstly identify the present type and abundance of airborne pollen of Guangzhou during the years 2016–2017, as well as Zhanjiang during the years 2015-2016. But the data of two cities was not broad enough for further examination of the role that biogeography plays in regional and urban variations in pollen composition. Thus we compile and analyze a historic atmospheric pollen dataset from 12 cities across South China and examine the regional variations in pollen content and relative abundance. This dataset can be applied to focus mainly on the regional and seasonal variation of airborne pollen and spores among 12 cities. The composition and relative abundance of airborne pollen in urban areas of south China are strongly influenced by geographical location, vegetation, climate, and sampling device, thus we tried to do relationship of pollen and meteorological data. It has also been analyzed that the allergic potentiality of pollen grains increases when they come closer or coated with air pollutants. Air pollutants (PM10, PM2.5, O3, SO2, NO2, CO etc.) can cause allergic symptoms but when it associated with allergenic pollen grains, the allergic power becomes more active. Thus, we tried to do the relationship of pollen and air pollutant data in the Guangzhou area.
