| 英文摘要 | A new fossil long-horned grasshopper together with a simple leg of Orthoptera were collected from the third member of the Sinuiju Formation from Paekto-dong, Sinuiju City, North Pyongan Province, Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). A new genus and species, Sinuijuboilus baektoensis gen. et sp. nov., is assigned to the family Prophalangopsidae. The new find not only broadens the distribution of the family Prophalangopsidae but also increases its diversity. This is the first fossil Orthoptera to be formally described from the Mesozoic of DPRK. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. |
