英文摘要Theoretical calculations based on a linear Jahn-Teller effect are performed for the far-infrared spectra of Fe~(2+) ions in CdTe. The contributions of the spin-orbit coupling of ligand Te are taken into account. The results are in good agreement with the experimental observations for the far-infrared optical spectra as well as the neutron-scattering data. The important contribution of the spin-orbit coupling of ligand Te in CdTe:Fe~(2+) found in recent works is confirmed.
