| 英文摘要 | Erbia has attracted great interest as an ideal candidate to suppress excess reactivity of high enrichment (>5 wt%) fuel. However, its development and application are persecuted by the preparation of high density erbia spheres. We herein prepared the erbia microspheres by means of combining the gel-casting with emulsion method. The effects of transfer pipeline and solid content on the morphology of Er2O3 spheres, as well as the mechanism of Span 80 were discussed. The results showed that the obtained erbia microspheres exhibited a good sphericity (1.03) and high density (93%T.D.), when the solid content was 55 vol% and the transfer pipeline was employed. The proposed method is expected to show promising applications in the field of nuclear fuel control material preparation. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. |
