英文摘要(Ti50Al50)N coating on 2.25CrMo steel with delta-TiN fee structure, which bond tightly with substrate alloy, was prepared by arc ion plating. In a reducing atmosphere containing chlorine at 500 degrees C, the coating shows excellent chlorination-oxidation resistance because a very thin alluminia was formed on the surface of coating during corrosion process, which prevents coating from severe chlorine corrosion; therefore, the substrate alloy achieves good protection of coating.
