英文摘要Titanium does not have high corrosion resistance in HCl, and the corrosion resistance of titanium alloy is not as good as titanium. This article investigated the effect of surface treatment on the corrosion resistance of Ti-6-22-22 alloy in 14 wt% HCl, the effect of corrosion on fatigue lives was also investigated. The results indicated that both shot-peening and ion-implantation can improve the corrosion resistance, the effect of ion-implantation was relatively better. If the surface of fatigued specimen is severely corroded, fatigue life is decreased greatly, slight corrosion does not change fatigue life obviously.
