Precipitation behaviour of carbides in k465 alloy during the alternate heating/cooling cycles

英文摘要K465 superalloy was investigated in 850 degrees C <-> 20 degrees C, 950 degrees C <-> 20 degrees C, 1000 degrees C <-> 20 degrees C and 1050 degrees C <-> 20 degrees C cycles. During 850 degrees C <-> 20 degrees C cycles, the precipitated M(6)C type carbides were not observed. During 950 degrees C <-> 20 degrees C cycles, M(6)C type carbides were precipitated in interdendritic region. During 1000 degrees C <-> 20 degrees C cycles and 1050 degrees C <-> 20 degrees C cycles, blocky, clubbed, acicular M(6)C type carbides were precipitated in interdendritic region and dendritic arm. In contrast to isothermal heat treatment, the heating/cooling cycles promoted precipitation of M(6)C type carbides. In addition, the increase of peak temperatures accelerated precipitation of M(6)C type carbides.
