Effects of NiSO4 and NaCl contents on throwing power of solution electroplating Ni and Ni deposit

英文摘要Several baths based on Watts bath were investigated by comparing electrochemical polarization and throwing power, and the effects of NiSO4 and NaCl contents were analyzed. The morphology of Ni deposit and preferred orientation of Ni grains were also analyzed using SEM and XRD techniques. The results show that high multiplying value of electrical conductivity and polarizability is of great importance for enhancing the throwing power of the bath. The morphology of Ni deposit is mainly affected by the category and amount of anions in the bath. The size and preferred orientation of Ni grain are controlled by the overpotential.
