Numerical simulation and experimental verification of temperature distribution in hot-rolling strip steel

英文摘要Coupling of thermal and mechanical fields through 3D FEM for large elastic and plastic deformation action, the hot-rolling process of IF steel strip was simulated. By adopting user subroutines of ABAQUS software, an interfacial heat transfer model was developed. On-line internal temperature measurement of strip steel was executed on a lab mill, and interfacial heat transfer coefficient (IHTC) was improved. After considering the effects of strain, strain rate and entrance temperature on the temperature evolution, the simulated temperature field matchs well with the measured one.
