Impact abrasive behavior of TiC/Ti composite layer by laser cladding

英文摘要TiC/Ti metal matrix composite coating was in - situ synthesized by laser cladding process on Ti6Al4V alloy. The matrix structure of composite coating changes with different composition of prepared alloy powders. The impact abrasive behavior of composite coating has been investigated using a single pendulum scratch device. The results show that the impact abrasive resistance of composite coating is three times that of Ti6Al4V matrix alloy, and the content of TiC in composite coating is increased with the content of Cr3C2 in prepared alloy powders increased, resulting in the increase of the impact abrasive resistance performance of composite coating.
