High-temperature oxidation resistance of DS NiCrAlY coating

英文摘要 | The oxidation behavior of detonation gun sprayed (DS) NiCrAlY coating at 1050 degreesC was evaluated by means of XRD, SEM and EDS. The results show that oxidation kinetic curve of DS NiCrAlY coating obeys the parabolic law. The Al2O3 protective scale is formed at coating surface. After oxidation for 300 h, the surface oxide scale keeps almost intact and no crack is found at the interface of coating and substrate. The oxidation resistance of DS NiCrAlY coating is evidently better than that of the naked substrate, a single crystal Ni-base superalloy. There are Al-N compounds appearing in the undersurface area of substrate. |
