Corrosion behavior of the electroless Ni-P coating on the pore walls of the lotus-type porous copper

英文摘要 | Electroless Ni-P was deposited on both the outer surface and the inner walls of the lotus-type porous copper to enhance its corrosion resistance. A novel method to conduct electrochemical measurements separately on the outer surface and the inner walls was proposed. The results showed that despite the thinner thickness, the coatings on the inner walls possess better corrosion resistance than those on the outer surface. To explain this phenomenon, we examined the differences, both on morphology and on composition, between the two coatings. A growth mechanism is discussed. |
