英文摘要 | Based on detailed field investigation upon the Baiyunchanghe granites, a comprehensive study of their petrography, geochemistry, zircon U-Pb geochronology and Hf isotope was carried out. The major elements of the Baiyunchanghe granites are high in SiO2 (70.68% similar to 77.21%), ALK (7.88% similar to 9.21% ), Fe2O3T/MgO (12.60 similar to 90.38 ) and 10000 x Ga/Al (3.63 similar to 6.17), low in Al2O3 (11.70% similar to 13.23%), MgO (0.06% similar to 0.24% ) and CaO (0.23% similar to 1.20%). The trace elements are rich in incompatible elements such as Rb, Th, K, and poor in Ba, Sr, Eu, Ti, P. All samples are enriched in LREE and depleted in HREE with obvious right-dipping seagull-shaped distribution and negative Eu anomaly. Calculated zircon saturated temperatures of the Baiyunchanghe granites range from 824 similar to 957 degrees C (averaged at 903 degrees C), which demonstrates they were formed in high temperature environment. Combined with the geochemical characteristics above, the Baiyunchanghe granites should be defined as A-type granite. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating from the granite yields crystallization age with similar to 1720Ma. Most epsilon(Hf) ( t) values of the zircons are positive (-1.84 similar to +6.08) and Hf model/Dm, ages of 1.9 similar to 2.2Ga and t(DM2) ages of 2.5 similar to 3.2Ga, which indicates the magma was derived from the Neoarchean juvenile crust and may be contaminated by ancient crustal materials when upwelling. Al-type granites showed in the diagrams of tectonic setting discrimination with the characteristics of intraplate magma imply that the Baiyunchanghe granites were most likely the products of continental rifting magmatism. Based on the regional documented geochronology data, the Baiyunchanghe granites should be regarded as the earliest rocks with solid isotopic age related to the breakup of Columbia supercontinent in Yinshan Block. |
