Objective The dual-player cooperative go/no-go task was applied to explore its role in evalua-ting the interpersonal relationship quality,and to reveal the potential value of the task for evaluating interpersonal relationship quality in groups.Methods The study recruited 76 pairs of participants in friends and 23 pairs in strangers.The emotional expressivity and interpersonal relationship quality questionnaire were measured,then each pair completed the dual-player cooperative go/no-go task,and the corresponding synchronization rate and reaction time were recorded.Results The response time difference of go trial in the friend group was significantly lower than that of the stranger group(P<0.01);the response time difference of go trials and positive emotion expressivity were significantly re-lated to the interpersonal quality(P<0.01);the synchronization rate of go trials and the response time difference of go synchronization trials and the positive emotion expressivity intensity were signifi-cantly related to the interpersonal relationship quality(P<0.05).Further linear regression analysis found that the synchronization rate of go trials,the response time difference of go trials,and the posi-tive emotion expressivity can significantly predict the interpersonal relationship quality(P<0.001).Conclusion The dual-player cooperative go/no-go task can effectively estimate the interpersonal rela-tionship quality,and the constructed linear regression model of task performance related indicators and emotional expressivity questionnaire-related indicators can reflect the closeness of interpersonal re-lationship.
