英文摘要With winter half-year (October to April) temperature series for the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River and Yangtze River, China, during the past 2000 years, the authors use wavelet technique to investigate possible connection between the winter half-year temperature in the central region of eastern China and solar activity. The study shows modulation action from solar activity plays an important role in the winter half-year temperature series.
