Theoretical study of the Omega(2012) state in the Omega(0)(c) -> pi(+)Omega(2012)(-) -> pi(+) ((K)over-bar Xi)(-) and pi(+) ((K)over-bar Xi pi)(-) decays

英文摘要We report on a theoretical study of the newly observed Omega(2012) resonance in the nonleptonic weak decays of Omega(0)(c) -> pi(+)(K) over bar Xi(1530)(eta Omega) -> pi(+)($) over bar Xi- and pi(+)(K) over bar (-) via final-state interactions of the (K)over bar>Xi(1530) and eta O pairs. The weak interaction part is assumed to be dominated by the charm quark decay process: Omega+ ($) over bar Xi- , while the hadronization part takes place between the sss cluster from the weak decay and a quark-antiquark pair with the quantum numbers JPC = 0(++) of the vacuum, producing a pair of (K)over bar>Xi(1530) and Omega Accordingly, the final K)over bar>Xi(1530) and.O states are in pure isospin I = 0 combinations, and the (0c) (K)over bar>Xi(1530)(K)over bar>Xi(1530). decay is an ideal process to study the (2012) resonance. With the final-state interaction described in the chiral unitary approach, up to an arbitrary normalization, the invariant mass distributions of the final states are calculated, assuming that the (2012) resonance with spin-parity JP = 3=2- is dynamically generated from the coupled channels interactions of the and.O in s-wave and K. in d-wave. We also calculate the ratio (K)over bar>Xi(1530) = Br=(0c) K)over bar>Xi.(K)over bar>Xi(1530)- =Br=(0c)(2012)- (K)over bar>Xi(1530).THORN-pi. The proposed mechanism can provide valuable information on the nature of the (2012) and can in principle be tested by future experiments, such as LHCb, Belle, BelleII, and the planed facilities, such as the super tau charm facility and electron ion collider at China.
