英文摘要The possibility and methodology of the application of database technology in Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) research is concerned in this work. An Oracle database management system is used to store and analyze the experimental data from a set of well-instrumented CFB equipment. A database application program and a website are available while visit the database. Two sample methods to use the data in the CFB database to serve the research were discussed. CFB have found wide application in the chemical process industries due to their superior gas-solid contacting ability. However the fluid dynamic behavior of these systems is still not fully understood because of the nonlinearity, complexity and asymmetry of CFB flow. For this reason, experiments performed in industrial and semi-industrial equipment, in which wall effects are not predominant, are very important. The rebuilt CFB equipment needs a new database system to match the changes on it. The CFB database was upgraded and reshaped. The new database can work well with the new equipment. Users can visit the database through two different channels. One is by the database application program; the other is by the database website. Two different ideas to use the database data on CFB research were practiced. One is to validate the mathematical model of CFB solid-gas two-phase flow by the database data. The software package based on Energy-Minimization Multi-Scale model was validated. The other is to describe the dynamical behavior of the solid-gas two-phase flow in CFB equipment by the Modified Particle Froude Number with the assistant of the experimental data in the CFB database.
