英文摘要Crystallization thermodynamics and kinetics of magnesium carbonate hydrates in electrolyte solutions have played an important role in many fields, such as mineralogy of Earth, countering global warming (carbon dioxide capture and storage), exploiting and utilizing MgCl2 resource in salt lake, and so on. In this work, the crystallization thermodynamics and kinetics of magnesium carbonate hydrates by the reaction of MgCl2 with Na2CO3 solution have been investigated in respect of exploiting and utilizing MgCl2 resource of salt lake. Two different magnesium carbonate hydrates, nesquehonite (MgCO3·3H2O) and hydromagnesite (Mg5(CO3)4(OH)2·4H2O), have been precipitated by controlling the reaction of MgCl2 with Na2CO3 solution in the temperature range of 10~90 °C.
