英文摘要 | The recovery of extractants from wastewater after the extraction of penicillin from fermentation broth is discussed in this paper using simulated system, which is butyl acetate or tributyl phosphate (TBP) aqueous solution added some surfactants. The butyl acetate can be separated no matter what surfactant species are used. During this course, butyl acetate is dissolved in the gas phase since the butyl acetate has higher volatility. The blowing of butyl acetate into the gas phase will grow with the increase of surfactant concentration. It will not go down until it reaches the maximum. The experimental results of foam separation show that TBP can be concentrated in the foam. Both the recovered concentration and the residual concentration of TBP increase with the increase of initial TBP concentration. The TBP enrichment ratio decreases with the increase of Tween 80 concentration. After the TBP enrichment ratio decreases to a minimum, it will increase. With low surfactant concentration, the Tween 80 has the highest TBP recovered concentration. While with high surfactant concentration, the Tween 20 has the highest TBP recovery. Experimental results show that both the anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and cationic surfactant cetyl-trimethyl-ammonium bromide (CTAB) can concentrate TBP in the foam film. Both TBP recovered concentration and residual concentration increase with the increase of TBP initial concentration. It seems that the TBP recovery is not directly related to pH, ion species, ion strength and the height of separation column. The enrichment ratio of TBP decreases with the increase of surfactant concentration. It is observed that the Critical Micellar concentration (CMC) of SDS is not affected by the addition of TBP through analyzing the results of electric conductivity. A mathematical model for foam separation of TBP from aqueous solution is presented. The numerical results show that: the gas velocity does not affect the separation if other parameters keep constant. The enrichment ratio increases with the decrease of the bubble size. When the adsorption coefficient increases or the equilibrium height for TBP adsorption on the foam decreases, the enrichment increases. The infrared spectra show that both the TBP and Tween 80 molecules can form micelles, when the water content is high enough. There is no strong interaction between TBP and Tween80 by studying the infrared spectra during mixing of TBP and Tween80. The temperature does not affect the infrared adsorption peaks. |
