英文摘要 | The northern margin of the Dabie Mountains is mainly composed of the Foziling Group (FZG) and the Luzhenguan Group ( LZG), which is in between the North China and Yangtze plates, and is a key site to probe into the coupling process of the two plates. Compared with the abundant research results of high-pressure and ultra-high pressure units in the Dabie orogenic belt, the research on the northern margin of the Dabie Mountains is more limited, which delay the refined exploration of the evolution process for the Dabie orogenic belt. In this study, based on the detailed field investigation, petrography, thermodynamic evaluation and chronological analysis for the FZG and LZG, the basic metamorphic properties and evolution process across the northern margin of the Dabie Mountains are explained in detail. The FZG mainly consists of various schists and some marble, and forms a large broad and gentle "antiform". The LZG is mainly composed of granitic gneiss with steeply gneissosity and some plagioclase amphibolite and garnet biotite-two feldspar gneiss as lens or layer, and shows a tectonic juxtaposition relationship with the FZG. Combined with previous data, the regional estimation of peak metamorphic PT conditions shows that the metamorphic temperature and pressure for the FZG and LZG are T = 524 similar to 621 degrees C, P = 0. 59 similar to 0. 96GPa, and T = 575 625 degrees C, P = 0.87 similar to 0. 96GPa, respectively. They both fall into the range of the middle-high pressure amphibolite facies. In the spatial distribution, the peak temperature and pressure of the FZG show a gradual variation trend from south to north, which reflects a subduction pattern from shallow to deep. The zircon U-Pb ages of 756 +/- 6Ma, 758 7Ma and 764 6Ma for the garnet biotite-two feldspars gneiss, granitic gneiss and plagioclase amphibolite from the LZG, respectively, have been defined, and confirm that the LZG belong to the northern margin of the Yangtze Plate. The four peak ages of 2.50Ga, 0. 93Ga, 0.85Ga, and 0.45Ga from the detrital zircons for the garnet -two mica schist of the FZG have been gained, and imply that the FZG has been formed as an independent micro-continent during the Late Paleozoic, and is of mixed origin with the North China Plate, Yangtze Plate and Paleozoic Island Arc. Synthesizing the existing metamorphic age, the FZG records two epochs: the accretionary orogen of 345 similar to 355 Ma in the Late Paleozoic Period and the collision orogen of 260 similar to 270 Ma in the Indochina Period. These implies that the Dabie orogenic belt is a composite orogenic belt composed of the accretionary and collisional orogens, and can be corresponded to the Tongbai-Hong'an orogenic belt in the west. |
