Effect of precursor structure on morphology and electrochemical performance of V2Al1-xCTz as an anode for Li-ions storage

英文摘要 | This work reported the synthesis of V2AlC with diverse microstructures by a molten salt method using multi -walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) and graphite powders as raw materials, respectively. V2AlC microstructure has a significant effect on morphologies and electrochemical performances of as-etched V2Al1-xCTz , there-into V(2)Al(1-x)CT(z )obtained from MWCNT exhibits the uniform and smooth three-dimensional nanosheet morphology with large specific surface area, and displays higher reversible capacities as an anode for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), releasing 156.8 mAh.g(-1) at 0.5 A.g(-1) and 277.8 mAh.g(-1) at 0.1 A.& g(-1) in the consecutive 500 and 220 cycles, respectively. Li-ions storage mechanism of V2Al1-xCTz is intercalation pseudocapacitive, accompanied with the redox reactions of V-ions during the Li-ions insertion and extraction process. This work shows the potential of diverse structured V2Al1-xCTz as anodes for the next-generation LIBs. |
