Objective To investigate the development of gross motor and its influencing factors in infants aged 0 to 23 months. Methods 3 739 infants aged 0-23 months in 20 provinces and cities in China were measured by " CDSC " ，and the related information of infants and their caregivers was collected by questionnaire. Ｒesults birth weight (β= -0. 666，P= 0. 002)，main caregiver (β=-0. 395，P= 0. 000)，feeding patterns (β= -0. 250，P = 0. 011)，the introduction of solid food (β = 0. 441，P = 0. 000) andaverage monthly household income (β= 0. 189，P = 0. 005) were all statistically significantwith children＇s gross motor development quotient (P＜0. 05) . Conclusion Low birth weight is not good for children＇s gross motor development，both mothers as the main caregiver and higher average monthly income of the family have a certain promotion effect on children＇s gross motor development. In the aspect of feeding，adhere to pure breast feeding，timely addition of complementary food is conducive to the development of great motor.
