To observe the relationship among post-traumatic growth，self-perceived burden and psychological resilience in patients with rectal cancer. Methods: Totally 100 patients with rectal cancer treated in China-Japan Friendship Hospital from January 2019 to April 2020 were selected，all patients were followed up for 1 year after operation. The Post-Traumatic Growth Scale ( PTGI) ，Self-Perceived Burden Scale ( SPBS) and Connor Davidson Ｒesilience Scale ( CD-ＲISC) were used for assessment 1 month，3 months，6 months and 12 months after surgery. Ｒesults: Totally 18 cases were lost during the follow-up，and 82 cases were finally included in the stud- y. The PTGI and CD-ＲISC scores were higher and the SPBS scores were lower at 3，6 and 12 months after operation than at 1 month after operation ( Ps ＜ 0. 05) . The results of one-way covariance analysis showed that the PTGI total scores were higher and the SPBS total scores were lower in the high-level group than in the low-level group ( Ps ＜ 0. 05) . Multiple linear regression analysis results showed that there was a positive correlation between postoperative PTGI scores and CD-ＲISC scores ( β = 0. 38) ，and a negative correlation between SPBS scores and CDＲISC scores ( β= - 0. 41) . Conclusion: It suggests that posttraumatic growth and self-perceived burden may be related to psychological resilience in young and middle-aged patients with rectal cancer.
