英文摘要 | In this study, a new protective coating system with superior impermeable and active self-healing anticorrosion properties was developed by incorporating of synthesized smart nanocontainers. The impermeable graphene serve as the carrier to encapsulate corrosion inhibitors (benzotriazole, BTA) intertwined with the tannic acid-ferric coordination complex. Local electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and immersion measurements proved that the localized corrosion reaction inside the coating defect can be largely inhibited. The excellent barrier performance of containers-based coating was demonstrated through the increased impedance modulus (nearly two orders of magnitude). In addition, the disassembled tannic acid molecules could integrate with the generated rust to form relatively dense layers. These results indicated the triple-action protective capabilities of coating achieved by the BTA inhibitor, graphene barrier and tannic acid rust-convertor. This novel nano-container effectively enhanced the autonomous function of coating and improved its service life under severe conditions. |
