英文摘要 | Each of the ITER bottom and top correction coils (BTCCs) consists of a U-shaped case and a cover plate. Precise positioning of the correction coils, welding, and surface processing of the case with a large curved surface area are extremely important factors affecting the fabrication of the U-shaped case. The size and profile of the case should be well controlled within the specified dimensional tolerance after welding. This study presents a detailed introduction to the profile controlling method during U-shaped case production, which includes the segmenting of a rectangular tube, welding procedure, production sequence, residual stress treatment, and accurate measurement. The final manufacturing processes and key technologies are determined by theoretical analysis, finite element analysis simulation, and testing. The proposed method can successfully control the profile deviation of the U-shaped case within the required dimensional tolerance. |
