Enhanced oil droplet aggregation and demulsification by increasing electric field in electrocoagulation

| 英文摘要 | An improved cloud point extraction (CPE) method has been developed for simultaneously preconcentration of malachite green (MG) and construction of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate in water. Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were added to water samples in advance and then MG and AgNPs can be extracted by CPE simultaneously. After discarding the supernatant, the cloudy solution in the bottom was transferred into a glass capillary and the SERS detection was realized on the glass capillary. Under the optimized conditions, the present method was linear for MG over the concentration range of 0.1 nmol/L - 5.0 nmol/L, with a detection limit of 30 pmol/L (S/N = 3) and the correlation coefficients of 0.9749 (796 cm(-1)) and 0.9476 (1615 cm(-1)). For some small molecules, like KSCN, which cannot be extracted by CPE directly, it can also be extracted and detected through the combination with AgNPs. This method is easy to handle, sensitive, and can be exploited to separate and detect trace amounts of pollutants in different aquatic environments. |
