英文摘要Several granitic-pegmatitic plutons in Himalayan orogenic belt are associated with rare metal ( lithium and beryllium in particular) mineralization, such as Pusila, Mount Qomolangma and Ra Chu. The Gyirong pluton is located in the middle part of the Himalayan orogenic belt with the outcrops of distinct granitic phases, including two -mica granite and beryl -bearing granitic pegmatite ( aplite included). The pluton is located in an area with an anomalous lithium enrichment on the geochemical mapping of lithium distribution in China. In this study, Li -rich micas are found in the Gyirong granitic phases. The texture characteristics are observed and in situ major and trace element compositions of micas are analyzed by using scanning electron microscope ( SEM), electron microprobe analyzer ( EMPA) and laser ablation -inductively coupled plasma -mass spectrometer ( LA-ICP-MS). The results show that the micas have obvious chemical zoning, with primary siderophyllite and muscovite as the inner zone, and zinnwaldite and trilithionite as the outer zone. Especially, the siderophyllite is replaced by the assemblage of zinnwaldite and quartz as the symplectic texture. Thus, two evolutional trends of micas are indicated from the core to the rim. One sequence is from siderophyllite to zinnwaldite trilithionite, in which the Al, Li, and F contents are obviously increasing. The Li20 and F contents in the zinnwaldite are up to - 3. 4% and -4. 5%, respectively. Another sequence is from muscovite to trilithionite zinnwaldite, with the highest F content in the trilithionite of up to -7. 8% and the calculated Li20 content of up to -6.0%. From the two -mica granite to pegmatite ( aplite), the K/Rb ratios of the siderophyllite and muscovite show the decreasing trend respectively, and the marginal lithium -rich micas have the similar K/Rb ratios with their inner micas. These textural and compositional features reveal that pegmatite and aplite have higher degree of magmatic evolution. The primary micas experienced the metasomatic process by the late Li -F fluids and formed the Li -rich micas as the secondary products. The intergrowth of zinnwaldite and quartz formed when the K -feldspar took part in the metasomatic reaction. Primary micas contain high concentration of rare -metals with Nb, Ta, W and Sn concentration of up to - 1100 x 10 -6, 150 x 10 -6, 60 x 10 -6 and 600 x 10 -6, respectively. However, the secondary Li -rich micas contain decreased concentration of rare metals. Combined with magmatic beryls in the pegmatite and aplite containing low Li concentration ( Li20 < 0. 2%), it is indicated that in the early magmatism the parental magma is not enriched in lithium and the Li -F -rich fluids occurred in the late stage which is not rich in rare metals (Nb-Ta-W-Sn). This study reports the lithium enrichment in Gyirong district from the mineralogical aspect for the first time.
