英文摘要 | An algorithm for damage assessment in composite laminates using tomography based on sensing network is described. The damage index was defined by the change in key characteristics of sensing networks, such as the correlation coefficient of guided ultrasonic wave signals or the change in electrical resistance. The algorithm was applied to indentify and assess damage in both CF/EP sandwich structures and GF/EP composite laminates, where the epoxy matrix in GF/EP laminates were modified by carbon black (CB) nanoparticles of 2.0 wt% and copper chloride (CC). The addition of CB nanoparticles and CC substantially improves electrical conductivity of GF/EP composites in all three principal directions with percolation network of CB nanoparticles. The results indicate the algorithm is very effective in locating and quantitatively assessing damage in CF/EP sandwich structures and GF/EP composite laminates using key chracteristics of sensing network.
