| 英文摘要 | A new species, Paraprotopsyllidium shouchangense sp. nov., is reported from the Lower Cretaceous Shouchang Formation (upper Barremian) in Zhejiang Province and attributed to family Para-protopsyllidiidae. The newly described taxon closely resembles its relative species, known only from Burmese amber, which hints at a potential migration of entomofauna, particularly flying insects, from Southeast China to the West Burma Block before the mid-Cretaceous. & COPY; 2023 Elsevier Ltd.
