英文摘要Sedimentary.metasedimentarycobaltdepositsaccountformorethan50% oftheworld's cobalt reserves and its output accounts for more than 65% of the world. Such cobalt deposits are mainly distributed in Zambia.Congo(Kinshasa)of Central Africa, Idahoof the UnitedStates,and Liaoning,Jilin,Shanxi and Qinghai of China.Sedimentarysandshale,submarinehydrothermal sedimentaryrocksandtheirmetamorphicrockseriesarethemainhostrocks.Atpresent,therearemanystudiesontheregional geologicalbackground, ore.bearingformation, latemetamorphism andtectonism, mineralogyofcobalt, ore.formingfluidsand mineralizationages.However,therearestillcontroversiesandproblemstobestudied,suchasthegeochemicalbehaviorofcobaltin differentgeologicalprocessesofsedimentation.metamorphism.hydrothermaltransformation, sedimentary conditionsand marine environment,enrichmentmechanism ofcobaltanditscontrollingfactors.Inthispaper,basedonthegeologicalbackground,ore. bearingformation,depositgeologicalcharacteristics,authorsanalyzemetallogenicconditionsandregularities,thesourcesofore. formingfluidandore.formingmaterialandformingmechanismofcobalt.Authorssuggestthatthemainconstraintfactorcontrolling cobaltdeposition and mineralization arecontinentalbreakup, oceanicredoxconditions, sedimentaryfaciesand sedimentary environment,andthekeytoformingore.richissuperpositionoflatemetamorphismorhydrothermalactivity.Atthesametime,the temporalandspatialdistributionofglobalsedimentary.metasedimentarycobaltdepositsandtheore.controllingfactorsarediscussedin thispaper.Itisproposedthatdetailedandin.depthresearchshouldbecarriedoutonpaleo.climateandpaleo.oceanicenvironment, materialsourcesandsourcebeds,latehydrothermalsuperpositionandabnormalenrichmentmechanism of cobalt
