英文摘要We describe a progress towards the total synthesis of sesquiterpenoid, shagene A, featuring ring -closing metathesis cascade of dienyne to construct the 6/5 bicyclic system, followed by the synthesis of the key intermediate diazoacetate, which could be hypothetically elaborated to the 6/5/3 ring system of natural product shagene A.
